Adding Whimsical Embedded as a Dashboard Widget

  1. Install the Whimsical Embedded app

  2. Navigate to one of your monday.com dashboards or add a new dashboard

  3. Configure your dashboard

  4. Click Add widget

  5. Click on Widget Center

  6. Navigate to Installed apps and click on the Whimsical Embedded app

  7. Click on the triple dot menu in the top right corner of the widget

  8. Click on Settings

  9. Navigate to Whimsical

  10. Open the Board, Wireframe or Project you wish to embed
    At the moment, it is not possible to embed Docs

  11. Click the Share button, in the top right corner
    Upon clicking on Share the URL will be copied to your clipboard

  12. Set the permission settings you would like
    Keep the following in mind:

    1. All permission settings will work

    2. Using the default settings will require users to login to see the embed

  13. Navigate back to monday.com and open the apps settings menu

  14. Paste the copied URL in the Whimsical Embedded URL field

  15. The Whimsical file you selected should be visible as a Dashboard Widget now
