Versions
Figma for Confluence supports versioning of Figma designs, allowing you to have more fine-grained control over how the design is presented in your Confluence pages.
There are two distinct ways of working with versions in Figma for Confluence:
Pin selected version (enabled) DEFAULT
By enabling the toggle you will be able to select a specific version of your design. Doing so will ensure that updates in Figma will not be propagated to the design you embedded. This will result in a deterministic way of attaching Figma designs to a Confluence page, meaning that the design representation will not change over time. When adding new designs to Confluence pages they are automatically pinned.
An additional benefit of pinning versions is that you are now free to make changes to your Figma files, including the removal of a particular frame, without this resulting in unexpected behaviour in Confluence.
Pin selected version (disabled)
Disabling this setting will ensure that all updates to the design in Figma are propagated to the design you embedded. You will always see the latest version of the design in your Confluence page.
To prevent unintentional changes to the representation of designs in Confluence pages, we recommend to select a specific version rather than always using the latest file version.
Interactive viewer (with zoom)
In the full screen dialog, you can view designs with an interactive viewer that allows you to drag the design and zoom to get a better view of a particular design. You can either zoom using the buttons in the top center of the dialog or by pressing Ctrl/Cmd button while using the scroll wheel/gesture on your mouse.
