Step-by-step installation guide

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.

  2. Click on settings at the top right of your screen.

  3. Click Find new apps from the left-hand side of the page.

  4. Find Presentation bundle for Confluence via search.
    The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial for Presentation bundle for Confluence

  6. Click Start free trial, Confluence will now download and install our awesome app!

Congratulations, you now have 8 apps in 1 bundle!

 

PowerPoint for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, PowerPoint will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed PowerPoint presentations into a Confluence page, log in to http://office.com and select the presentation you want to embed.

Embed using the presentation URL

PowerPoint for Confluence will automatically detect the presentation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in PowerPoint, copy the URL from the browser address bar and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The PowerPoint for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

  2. Select the desired dimensions & click insert
    Keep in mind that one of both dimensions (width & height) needs to be a css unit. Also note that height can only be an absolute unit (px, cm, etc) and not relative (%, em, etc)

  3. Publish your Confluence page & your PowerPoint presentation will become visible!
    Keep in mind that presentations are read-only

Embed using the share URL

PowerPoint for Confluence will automatically detect the presenstation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in PowerPoint, click Share in the top right corner and click on the Copy link button. Copy the link and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The PowerPoint for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

  2. Select the desired dimensions & click insert
    Keep in mind that one of both dimensions (width & height) needs to be a css unit. Also note that height can only be an absolute unit (px, cm, etc) and not relative (%, em, etc)

  3. Publish your Confluence page & your PowerPoint presentation will become visible!

Embed using the macro editor

Using the embed code instead of the URL

In PowerPoint, you can click on the File menu item in the top left corner of your screen. This will open a menu. Click Share and select the Embed option. An iframe embed code is shown. Copy the embed code.

  1. When editing a page, click on the plus button at the top right of your screen and click on Other macro’s or View more

  2. Search for PowerPoint for Confluence. Click on PowerPoint for Confluence

  3. The macro editor right side panel will open, which will allow you to enter the HTML embed code in the URL field of the macro

  4. Select the desired dimensions & click insert
    Keep in mind that one of both dimensions (width & height) needs to be a css unit. Also note that height can only be an absolute unit (px, cm, etc) and not relative (%, em, etc)

  5. Publish your Confluence page & your PowerPoint presentation will become visible!
    Keep in mind that presentations are read-only

Adobe PDF for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Adobe PDF will become available as three separate Confluence Macros. If you want to embed Adobe PDF files into a Confluence page, they need to be externally available as the macro only accepts public URL’s to PDF files. When embedding the PDF file, you can choose between the Adobe PDF Viewer, Adobe PDF Slideshow and Adobe PDF Inline embed macro.

Embed using the macro editor

  1. When editing a page, click on the plus button at the top right of your screen and click on Other macro’s or View more

  2. Search for Adobe PDF

  3. Based on your preference, select the Adobe PDF Viewer, Adobe PDF Slideshow or Adobe PDF Inline Embed macro

  4. The macro editor right side panel will open, which will allow you to enter the URL of your PDF file

  5. Depending on the chosen macro, you can enable/disable additional viewer options

  6. Select the desired dimensions & click insert
    Keep in mind that one of both dimensions (width & height) needs to be a css unit. Also note that height can only be an absolute unit (px, cm, etc) and not relative (%, em, etc)

  7. Publish your Confluence page & your Adobe PDF file will become visible!
    Keep in mind that PDF’s are read-only. You will have to download the file to preserve comments & annotations.

Apple Keynote for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Apple Keynote will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Keynote presentations into a Confluence page, log in to https://icloud.com and select the presentation you want to embed.

Embed using the presentation URL

Keynote for Confluence will automatically detect the presentation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in Keynote, you can copy the URL from the address bar, or click on the Collaborate button at the top right off your screen. Click Copy Link and the Share button. Paste the URL directly into your Confluence page. The Keynote for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

  2. Select the desired dimensions & click insert

Google Slides for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Google Slides will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Slides presentations into a Confluence page, log in to https://slides.google.com and select the presentation you want to embed.

Embed using the presentation URL

Google Slides for Confluence will automatically detect the presentation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in Google Slides, copy the URL from the browser address bar and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The Google Slides for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

Embed using the HTML embed code

Once you have selected the presentation in Google Slides, open the File menu in the top left corner and click on the Publish to the web menu item. Click on Embed and copy the HTML embed code.

  1. When editing a page, click on the plus button at the top right of your screen and click on Other macro’s or View more

  2. Search for Google Slides for Confluence. Click on Google Slides for Confluence

  3. The macro editor right side panel will open, which will allow you to enter the HTML embed code in the URL field of the macro

  4. Select the desired dimensions & click insert

Pitch for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Pitch will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Pitch presentations into a Confluence page, log in to https://pitch.com and select the presentation you want to embed.

Embed using the presentation URL

Pitch for Confluence will automatically detect the presentation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in Pitch, you can copy the URL from the address bar, or click on the share button at the top right off your screen. Paste the URL directly into your Confluence page. The Pitch for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

Canva for Confluence

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Canva will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Canva designs into a Confluence page, log in to https://canva.com and select the design you want to embed.

Embed using the design URL

Canva for Confluence will automatically detect the design URL. Once you have selected the design in Canva, copy the URL from the browser address bar and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The Canva for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

  2. Select the desired dimensions & click insert

Embed using the share URL

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Netlify will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Netlify sites into a Confluence page, log in to https://netlify.com and select the site you want to embed.

Embed using the project URL

Netlify for Confluence will automatically detect the site URL. Once you have opened the Netlify site, you can copy the URL from your address bar and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The Netlify for Confluence macro will open automatically.

You can edit the macro to adjust the dimensions:

  1. After selecting the macro, click on the Edit button to open the macro editor right side panel

  2. Select the desired dimensions & click insert

After installing the Presentation bundle for Confluence app, Prezi will become available as a Confluence Macro. If you want to embed Prezi presentations into a Confluence page, log in to https://prezi.com and select the presentation you want to embed.

Embed using the presentation URL

Prezi for Confluence will automatically detect the presentation URL. Once you have selected the presentation in Prezi, copy the URL from the browser address bar and paste it directly into your Confluence page. The Prezi for Confluence macro will open automatically.
