Step-by-step installation guide

  1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.

  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Manage apps.
    The Manage apps screen loads.

  3. Click Find new apps from the left-hand side of the page.

  4. Locate Version & Component Sync for Jira via search.
    The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Version & Component Sync for Jira.
    You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Version & Component Sync for Jira begins to download.

  6. Jira will now download and install our awesome app !

  7. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.

  8. Click Apply license.
    If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.

Changes in Jira

When Version & Component Sync (VCS) is installed you will see the following changes 

  1. A Version & Component Sync tab will appear on the project settings summary page. 

     

  2. Version & Component Sync is shown on the Manage apps page.
