Google Slides for Confluence

Step-by-step installation guide

1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.

2. Click on Confluence administration at the top right of your screen.

3. Scroll down expand Atlassian Marketplace

4. Click on Find new apps

5. Find Google Slides for Confluence via search.
   The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

6. Click Try free to begin a new trial for Google Slides for Confluence

7. Click Start free trial, Confluence will now download and install our awesome app!

How to use Google Slides for Confluence

1. After installing the Google Slides for Confluence app, the app will become available as a Confluence Macro

2. Click on the plus button at the top right of your screen

3. Search for & click on Google Slides for Confluence

4. Go to Google Slides & open the file you want to embed

5. Click on the File at the top left off your screen

6. Navigate to Share & click on Publish to web

7. Configure your sharing preferences & copy the link
   Keep in mind that the file needs to be publicly available for the embed to work

8. Paste the Google Slides link into the Google Slides URL input box
   The Google Slides for Confluence app will load a preview of your file

9. Select your desired macro type & height & click on Insert

10. Publish your Confluence page & your Google Slides file will become visible!
    Keep in mind that the slide is read only
