Due to the rate limiting imposed by the Figma API and to improve the performance and user experience of Figma for Jira PRO, it is recommended to store the Figma API results in cache.

As this may impact the performance of your system, both in terms of memory and CPU consumptions, please make sure to adjust the cache settings to your needs. You can control the maximum number of items stored in cache, as well as the time to live (TTL) using the timeout (in minutes). You can also control the expiration policy, which will determine if an item is evicted after it is written to cache or after it has last been accessed.
This page allows Jira admin to manage the caching of the Figma files/frames.
