Step-by-step installation guide

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.

  2. Click on settings at the top right of your screen.

  3. Click Find new apps from the left-hand side of the page.

  4. Find Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence via search.
    The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial for Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence

  6. Click Start free trial, Confluence will now download and install our awesome app!

How to use Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence

  1. After installing the Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence app, the app will become available as a Confluence Macro

  2. Click on the plus button at the top right of your screen and click on Other macro’s or View more

  3. Search for Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence. Click on Geckoboard Dashboardsfor ConfluenceTYPE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN GECKOBOARD

  4. The macro editor right side panel will open, which will allow you to enter the URL of your Geckoboard dashboard.

  5. To find the dashboard URL, log in to geckoboard.com and select the dashboard you want to embed

  6. Click on the share button at the top right off your screen

  7. Scroll down to A modal will open which shows the share link and copy . Copy the link

  8. Paste the Airtable Geckoboard link into the Airtable URL input box
    The Airtable Geckoboard Dashboards for Confluence app will load a preview of your base or view

  9. Select the desired dimensions & click insert
    Keep in mind that one of both dimensions (width & height) needs to be a css unit. Also note that height can only be an absolute unit (px, cm, etc) and not relative (%, em, etc)

  10. Publish your Confluence page & your Airtable base or view Geckoboard dashboard will become visible!
    Keep in mind that tables dashboards are read-only, forms are editable.
